These are the best surf fishing weights we've found for targeting California corbina, surf perch, spotfin croaker, whiting, bonefish, bass, redfish, croaker, halibut and similar wary species on light to medium tackle. They're great for making sliding sinker or Carolina rigs and for light line surf fishing setups with sand crabs, shrimp, lures, worms, gulp sandworms or small grubs as bait.
 
Size Guide:
 
1/2oz – A great option for shorter rods (5-7'), calm conditions, back bays, harbors or close-range fishing with light line such as 6-15lb braid or 2-8lb fluorocarbon / mono and Light or Medium Light spinning tackle.
 
3/4oz Ideal for longer surf rods (8-10') and conditions featuring more current or bigger waves, with 8-20lb braid or 4-10lb mono main line. This is a great all-rounder for light line surf fishing in calm to moderate conditions using Light or Medium Light combos using grubs and worms.
 
1oz – Great for when conditions are a little rougher or when fishing a heaver combo with lines in the 10-30lb range and Medium Light, Medium or heavier setups with bigger baits.
