Fishbites E-Z Flea (Sand Crab) is a highly effective artificial, scented surf fishing bait for targeting Croaker, Pompano, Drum, Corbina, Shovelnose, Surf Perch and general surf species anywhere on the East or West Coast - we love the convenience and how consistently these baits turn up big, personal best fish for our clients and customers.
 
Simply cut off a small strip - we recommend cutting a 10-15mm finger-shaped section - and mounting it on one of our ready-tied surf fishing rigs such as the Croaker Double Dropper Loop rig for West Coast fishing - and fish as you would a normal bait.
 
Each bait strip is 1/2″ wide and about 12″ long. The Longer Lasting formula features a cloth binder in the middle of the bait that keeps it on the hook despite the efforts of notoriously toothy bait stealers.
 
This is an especially good bait for introducing new anglers to the sport since many are nervous about handling real crabs or baits, and the durability means you're more likely to hook up rather than reel in a baitless hook.
 
Note: this bait contains no animals or animal products, and can be stored in a dry bag for several weeks without losing its effectiveness.
