Bait Elastic (bait thread, magic thread) in Heavy or Light versions is an essential item for attaching cut fish baits, squid, shrimp, shellfish or any sort of soft bait to your rig when surf shark fishing or beach casting, especially when casting any sort of distance or dealing with nuisance fish stripping soft baits. 
 
Use the Heavy version for rigging mackerel, bonito, surf perch and croaker baits for shark fishing - and the Light version for small baits such as crabs, shrimp, worms, squid, mussel meat and similar small surf fishing baits.
 
This is an essential item, especially for use with our range of ready-tied surf fishing rigs. It allows you to build the best presentation and bait for surf fishing for a lot of different species, especially sharks and rays.
